Bay State Truck & Trailer is a family owned and operated business that prides itself on customer service and quality products. Beginning in 1979, Jack Hoskins, Sr. and his wife Linda left their positions as Vice President of a local Trailmobile dealership and Executive Assistant at Hasbro Toys, to take on the task of starting their own quality driven trailer sales and service facility. They rented a small two bay garage in nearby Pawtucket, Rhode Island and with the help of their two sons started what is now known as the regions’ premier tank trailer repair and sales facility. The current success of the organization is evidence of the values of the Hoskins family.

            Family owned and operated for 40 years, Bay State has been the parts, sales, and service leader in New England since 1979. We have experience repairing all manner of trailers and our newly renovated eight bay facility can handle any job, big or small. We are proud of the reputation we have built as an industry leader, and we pride ourselves on providing unsurpassed customer service, quality products, and attention to detail. We offer both new and preowned sales and service along with a full line of trailer parts and components. Like everything else we do, we only stock the best brands in the industry with names like Civacon, Betts, Emco-Wheaton, and Alcoa. Our technicians are factory trained, and are "R" stamp ASME approved welders. Bay State Truck and Trailer is an authorized distributor for Heil Trailer International, J&L Tank, Robinson Vacuum Tank, Countryside Tank, Tuthill Blowers, TCS Meters, and Paragon Tank Truck Equipment, along with a long list of other complimentary suppliers. We service all makes and models of petroleum tankers, oil trucks, dry bulk trailers, dumps, flatbeds, asphalt trailers, van trucks and septic haulers.

            Headquartered in Rehoboth, Massachusetts since 1985. After years of continued growth in both the sales and service side of the business it was determined it was time to expand. In 2007 we finished a 1.75 million dollar renovation. The renovation included new office space, shop bays, mechanical updates as well as power and infrastructure to support growth for the future. Bay State Truck and Trailer, Inc. covers Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, along with Long Island, Upstate & Central New York.

          

​            Bay States' corporate management today includes the President, Jack Hoskins Jr., who also serves as the Service Manager, and his brother Treasurer and Clerk / Sales Manager, Mr. Erik Hoskins.
